How we help

What actually changes when you work with us

Not just "we file your returns" — the specific ways a client's week gets easier.

01

You stop tracking deadlines

We flag every due date that applies to you before it arrives, with the documents we need attached to the same reminder.

02

One person, not a queue

A named contact who already knows your file, so you're never re-explaining your business to someone new.

03

Notices get answered fast

Send us a notice the day it arrives and we tell you in plain language what it means and what we're doing about it.

04

Fees agreed up front

A written quote before work starts, so nothing shows up on the invoice that wasn't discussed first.

Or stop tracking it yourself

Clients on a compliance retainer get a reminder before every date that applies to them, with the documents we need listed in the same message.

About the firm

Classic values, modern practice

The Classic Partners was built on a simple idea: chartered accountancy should feel like a partnership, not a transaction. We pair the discipline of traditional accounting with modern tools and plain-language advice, so you're never left decoding your own financial statements.

Our team works across income tax, GST, audit, company law and CFO advisory — which means a client rarely needs to be handed off to "someone else" as their situation grows more complex.

  • One named point of contact, so you're not re-explaining your business each time.
  • Fees agreed in writing before work starts, not discovered on the invoice.
  • Every filing acknowledgement shared with you, so you hold your own records.

Your documents

You're handing over your financial life. Here's how we treat it.

Uploaded, not emailed

Documents come in through a secure portal rather than sitting in inboxes and WhatsApp threads indefinitely.

Confidential by obligation

As practising Chartered Accountants we're bound by professional confidentiality — your information never leaves the engagement.

Your records stay yours

Acknowledgements, computations and filed returns are shared back to you, so you can leave any time without losing your history.

Common questions

Questions we're asked before the first call

What does it cost to work with you?

It depends on the work — a single salaried return is very different from monthly GST plus an audit. We quote a fixed fee in writing after the first consultation, before any work begins, so nothing appears on the invoice that you didn't agree to.

Can you take over from my current accountant?

Yes, and it's common. We'll list exactly which records and logins to collect, review the last couple of years for anything unresolved, and take over from the next filing cycle. Handovers are smoothest when they don't happen days before a deadline.

Who needs a statutory audit in India?

Companies registered under the Companies Act, and businesses or professionals crossing specific turnover thresholds under the Income Tax Act, generally need their accounts audited. The thresholds shift with amendments, so send us your turnover figures and we'll confirm whether it applies to you this year.

What documents do I need for GST registration?

Usually PAN, proof of business address, bank account details, identity and address proof of the promoters, and your constitution documents — partnership deed, incorporation certificate and so on. We send a checklist matched to your business type so you're not guessing.

I've received an income tax notice. What now?

Send it to us before you reply to anything. Most notices are routine — a mismatch, a missing disclosure, a processing adjustment — and have a response window. We'll tell you what it actually says, what it will take to close it, and draft the reply.

Can NRIs get help with Indian tax filing remotely?

Yes. We work with NRI clients across time zones for return filing, DTAA questions, property sales and repatriation, entirely online, with documents collected through our secure portal.

How long does Private Limited registration take?

With documents in order, typically a couple of weeks — name approval, DIN and DSC, then filing with the Registrar of Companies. We manage the full process and flag anything likely to cause a delay at the start rather than halfway through.

Let's simplify your finances.

Book a free, no-obligation consultation. You'll leave the call knowing what applies to you and what it will cost — whether or not you work with us.
